Our fleet comprises of Open and Cabin Ribs (Rigid Inflatable Boat) tough Pioner Multis and Military proven Zodiac Inflatables with additional vessels sourced if and when needed. We can supply coded Ribs or workboats with experienced crews or on bareboat charter, leaving the customer to crew the vessels themselves. We are also able to assist with or to provide the risk assessments required for safe work boat operations. All our vessels are easily trailerable and available 24/7 throughout the Highlands & Islands.

Our Vessels for Charter
Built in 2016 Petrel is a 4.2 mtr semi inflatable boat manufactured to a military and commercial Zodiac Milpro Grand Raid design. The backbone of the Ness Ribs fleet, Petrel is simple, strong and very versatile. Powered by a 25 hp Yamaha engine she is able to carry a maximum of 6 persons, safely and efficiently. Easily launched and recovered Petrel is generally found operating as safety craft or tender to larger vessels thus providing them safe access to remote islands, cliffs and coastlines.

The SeaRider has been proven in operation use around the world, by both military and professional operators; with its unique water ballast system and deep “V” hull, giving the craft exceptional sea keeping capabilities, yet still offering high performance and manoeuvrability in the heaviest of seas.
The Zodiac Milpro SeaRider can be ship launched, and if required, self righting equipment can be supplied Zodiac Milpro has been at the forefront of the design and development of RIBs since its onset.

Built in 2010 the Pioneer Multi workboat has enormous carry capacity, superb sea keeping abilities and a unique bow door making the loading of heavy or bulky items effortless. Easily launched and recovered, Pioneer 1 is powered by a 60 hp Suzuki engine, equipped with VHF radio and all the required safety equipment. Pioneer 1 can carry a max of 6 persons or 1170kg of cargo and is a real “workhorse” ideally suited to logistical jobs on remote Highland lochs and rivers.

“Skua” Built in 2010 Skua is a 7.8 mtr rigid inflatable boat manufactured to a commercial Ribcraft design. She fully complies to MCA (Maritime Coastguard Agency) CAT 3R and so is able to operate up to 20 Miles from a safe haven. Coded for 10 passengers and carrying Life safety equipment to SOLAS B, she designed as a commercial foul weather boat and has proven herself in this field. Even in inhospitable sea conditions worldwide the Ribcraft 7.8 will get you there with confidence.
With a high sheer bow and a generous 2.7 metre beam they are true workhorses of the sea. Skua is equipped with all the very latest electronic equipment including, Chartplotter, Radar, VHF Radio and powered by a single 250 hp Suzuki engine.
